The Gigabyte B840M Aorus Elite WiFi6E is a high-performance Micro-ATX motherboard built for AMD’s AM5 socket platforms. It features the newer B840 chipset and is designed to support the latest Ryzen 7000, 8000, and 9000 series processors. It uses DDR5 memory in dual-channel mode with four DIMM slots, allowing up to 256 GB of system memory and supports high memory overclocking rates (e.g. up to DDR5-8200 in OC mode). For storage, it includes two PCIe 4.0 M.2 slots for NVMe SSDs plus multiple SATA III ports for traditional drives. It offers modern connectivity with USB Type-C and high-speed USB 3.x ports. On the networking side, it comes with built-in WiFi 6E with a directional high-gain antenna and 2.5 GbE wired LAN.
